Slippers that Fit!
Slippers are a wonderful quick project that are perfect gifts for the holidays or anytime. Wooly warm slippers are especially welcome as the cold weather rolls in. Growing up my family’s Christmas tradition was each person received a new pair of slippers made by my mom on Christmas morning this was usually the first gift we opened.
There are a lot of different slipper patterns out there, but what if you don’t like the yarn they used or have a favorite yarn in your stash that you know would make the perfect slippers? In this class you will learn how to modify a simple crochet slipper pattern to use it with any size of yarn and get slippers that will fit every time.
In class we will work with measurements taken during class from your own foot to make a single slipper that will fit you perfectly. You’ll also learn what measurements you will need from someone else to make slippers for them. We will cover “cheats” for getting those measurements without potential giftees knowing you’ve taken their measurements.
